Okayama, Japan
1234 Taniguchi, Kosaka Higashi, Kamogata-cho, Asakuchi-shi, Okayama Prefecture
Asakuchi City, Okayama Prefecture | 5 minutes by car from the Kamogata IC on the Sanyo Expressway, Asakuchi City, which has one of the largest astronomical observatories in Japan, offers a house and forest for free.
Owner's Notes:
The property was inherited from my grandmother.
There are almost no items left inside the house, but there are wooden boards and other items under the floorboards and around the house.
There is a vacuum cleaner and an air conditioner, but I don't know if they work.
I wouldn't say the toilet or bathroom is clean.
There is electricity and running water, but I don't actually use them.
I think it could be used as a storage space, but if you want to live in it, I think it would need some repairs and maintenance.
There is space to park a car, but the road is not wide, so it will be difficult to enter and exit unless you have a light or compact car.
Also, because of the width of the road, I think it is basically impossible to rebuild, but I am not an expert so I do not know the details.
We try to keep the area from becoming overgrown by mowing the grass and laying down weed-proof sheets every 1-2 months, but because it's far away we can't do this satisfactorily.
There is also a forest adjacent to the west side of the housing lot. It
is overgrown with trees and bamboo, and the steep slope means it is not possible to enter the land, so its current condition is unknown.
Grass, trees, and bamboo growing on the residential side are cut every one to two months.
Both the residential areas and the forests are well-lit from morning until midday, which makes them ideal for home gardens, farms, or solar power generation.
Next door is a vacant house and a vacant lot.
It's about a 5-minute drive from Kamogata Interchange on the Sanyo Expressway, so if you have a car it should be fairly easy to access.
There is a pole with a supporting wire on the land, and we receive a small amount of land rent from the electric company every year. Once the procedures for changing the ownership of the real estate and the transfer of ownership of the unregistered building to the city hall are completed, we will promptly change the ownership of our property as well.
I would like to transfer both the residential land and the forest land.
I will not be held responsible for any problems, malfunctions, or troubles that may occur after the transfer.
We are looking for someone who is willing to take over after understanding the above.
Other Notes:
Fixed asset tax assessment: 2,048,400 yen (land) 501,008 yen (building)
Annual fixed asset tax: Under investigation
